About us
North Road Family Practice was established by Dr Moroney in the 1970's and was a single-handed practice for over 35 years.
Dr James Kirrane took over the practice in 2011 and was joined by Vera Lawlor at reception who was also with Dr Moroney for many years. Vera retired in the summer of 2020, and Dana Onose who was part-time is now our full-time receptionist. Holly Breay joined the team in Jan 2014 as Practice Nurse. The Surgery is also a training practice for GP Registrars who are qualified doctors doing their specialty in General Practice through UCD. The GP Registrar will change on a yearly basis July - June.
